According to the authoritative newspaper L’Automobile, the novelty has the same landing formula two plus two, but it is currently unknown what will the roof be look like. There are two versions. According to one it will be a hard folding top, according to the other – a soft one.

Most recently, BMW presented several electric cars and hybrids, which will be released soon in mass production. The new i3 goes on market in 2013, and i8 sports car in 2014. BMW plans to introduce other models of “i” brand, and want to show their aspiration to achieve greater efficiency and reducing exhaust gas emissions in worldwide.

BMW Company is well known for its sports coupe cars, however, a new concept car BMW i8, which was present at the Frankfurt Auto Show, surprised everyone without exception.
I8 hybrid was making in a new beautiful and attractive design. Especially very visible “slim” LED lamps on the front. The roof of the car is transparent, as well as some of part of sides of electric hybrid. The body forced with plastic and carbon fiber, and the colored stripes and lines give exclusive “futuristic” look for car.

Previously, we reported that BMW is going to release «i» models of electric cars. But for this company is hardly competing on the selection of personnel for the issuance of hybrid and electric cars.
Now the employee’s of engineer department mainly consist of the old engineers. This is caused due to not grip the country’s young professionals. According to approximate calculations this month 77 000 engineers is not enough throughout the country (according to the German Engineering Association – VDI).
