According to the authoritative newspaper L’Automobile, the novelty has the same landing formula two plus two, but it is currently unknown what will the roof be look like. There are two versions. According to one it will be a hard folding top, according to the other – a soft one.

Most recently, BMW presented several electric cars and hybrids, which will be released soon in mass production. The new i3 goes on market in 2013, and i8 sports car in 2014. BMW plans to introduce other models of “i” brand, and want to show their aspiration to achieve greater efficiency and reducing exhaust gas emissions in worldwide.

The Interview, conducted in several city in Europe, China, Japan and the United States showed that the interest in electric and hybrid “horses on wheels” is rising steadily. 36% of interviewed would like to buy a hybrid car, another 45.8% are thinking about buying an electric car.

BMW Company is well known for its sports coupe cars, however, a new concept car BMW i8, which was present at the Frankfurt Auto Show, surprised everyone without exception.
I8 hybrid was making in a new beautiful and attractive design. Especially very visible “slim” LED lamps on the front. The roof of the car is transparent, as well as some of part of sides of electric hybrid. The body forced with plastic and carbon fiber, and the colored stripes and lines give exclusive “futuristic” look for car.

Previously, we reported that BMW is going to release «i» models of electric cars. But for this company is hardly competing on the selection of personnel for the issuance of hybrid and electric cars.
Now the employee’s of engineer department mainly consist of the old engineers. This is caused due to not grip the country’s young professionals. According to approximate calculations this month 77 000 engineers is not enough throughout the country (according to the German Engineering Association – VDI).

Meet the new participant of electric mobile industry – converted BMW e30, which by some marks faster than Tesla Roadster. The range of the electric car’s charging is about 800 miles. An electric car has presented in all its beauty when racing from Munich to the Swiss city St. Moritz. During the racing electric car demonstrated its easy controlling properties and the ability for quick acceleration. This electric car will be presented at the Frankfurt Motor Show this September.

Slowly but surely, BMW is developing its capacity to create in the 2013 a small but full-fledged electric car. In the 2009 the company began to lease the Twin Mini Cooper six hundred drivers in New York, California and New Jersey. This program was designed to gather information about real conditions of operation of electric and understanding of the characteristics that they should have.

In order to be able to lease BMW ActiveE already lined up a fairly long turn. Bavarians have announced that they will select testers only in large cities. ActiveE to become the second company (after the Mini) hybrid, which is available on the market in test mode. But although the number of lease car will increase to 700 this will still not be enough to provide a novelty for all comers.
