Slowly but surely, BMW is developing its capacity to create in the 2013 a small but full-fledged electric car. In the 2009 the company began to lease the Twin Mini Cooper six hundred drivers in New York, California and New Jersey. This program was designed to gather information about real conditions of operation of electric and understanding of the characteristics that they should have.

Starting in 2011, the same number of drivers will be able to hire the following Electrical Engineering Bavarian automaker – four ActiveE, which is essentially an electric version of BMW the first series.
