New Nissan e-NV200 Electric Concept

By kenny on January 11, 2012 in Electric vans

Nissan NV200 is going to serve NY as the replacement for the Crown Vic. For this purpose, the brand has tested its electric variant and compared the numbers with FedEx in London and Japan Post Service.
The new e-NV200 concept is a rather vivid resemblance of the LEAF model. The brightest common feature is the striking blue metallic paint. Many details of the front part look similar, starting from aerodynamically styled headlights and going to the chrome bumper strip, charging port cover and round lights. The wheels of e-NV200 look suitable high tech.
Its sliding doors really make the access easy, plus at the back it is all business. Only the fancy lights and a tailpipe lack mark the model out from a usual van.
The manufacturers of e-NV200 have selected to fit the new electric model with parts from LEAF – 90 kW, 24 kWh battery and 80 kW AC electric motor, which produces 200 pounds-foot of torque from a standstill.
This vehicle energizes the current van market, helping it to improve the urban life quality and providing financial investment for both small and large business.  Though an electric van does not sound as great as a hybrid car or a sporty model, but this is still a rather important vehicle.
